DC Circ. Wrongly Halted Nuke Waste Fee Payments, DOE Says

Law360, New York (January 6, 2014, 3:27 PM EST) -- The D.C. Circuit's order for the U.S. Department of Energy to stop hitting nuclear power plant operators with waste fees totaling about $750 million each year is illegal and tramples on the judgment of both the Secretary of Energy and Congress, the agency told the appeals court Friday.
