Nev. Utility Is Owed $25M Over Nixed Tax Law, Court Told

Law360, New York (January 10, 2014, 3:34 PM EST) -- Coal power giant NV Energy on Tueday told the Nevada Supreme Court it is owed $25 million in back sales and use taxes after a Nevada district court invalidated the state’s coal tax statute while at the same time denying the company's refund request.
