Toshiba Grabs Slice Of PE-Backed Indian Water Supply Co.

Law360, New York (January 7, 2014, 2:24 PM EST) -- Toshiba Corp. has picked up a 26 percent stake in UEM India Private Ltd., a water supply and sewerage company owned by India Value Fund Advisors, for an undisclosed sum, the companies said Tuesday.

Noida, India-based UEM has projects across 30 countries in Southeast Asia, North and Central Americas and Africa, with a revenue of $70 million, according to details of the deal.
