Samsung Loses Bid For AIA Review Of Fractus Patents

Ltd.'s petitions to invalidate Fractus SA antenna patents that it was ordered to pay $38 million for infringing are time-barred by the America Invents Act, the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office ruled Thursday, rejecting a novel argument by Samsung.
