Obama Renominates 54 Judges After GOP Lets Picks Lapse

Law360, Washington (January 7, 2014, 6:37 PM EST) -- President Barack Obama on Monday renominated 54 candidates for open federal district and appellate court positions after their nominations expired at the end of 2013, setting up a potential fight with Senate Republicans who refused to allow votes on several of the nominees to go forward in December.
