NH Aims To Join States Offering Call Center Tax Credit

Law360, New York (January 8, 2014, 4:00 PM EST) -- New Hampshire would become the latest state to offer call center businesses a tax credit for hiring full-time employees from within the state, according to legislation introduced Wednesday.

The bill would establish a credit worth $2,500 to be used against New Hampshire's business tax for each qualified hire. A business cannot claim more than $2 million in tax credits for any fiscal year, according to the legislation.
