SC Court Upholds Defense Coverage For Church IP Row

Law360, New York (January 8, 2014, 5:57 PM EST) -- A South Carolina federal judge held Monday that an insurer must defend an Episcopal church in an intellectual property fight, which stemmed from a church split that resulted in part from a theological debate over homosexuality, though he refused to hold that the insurer acted in bad faith.
