Bankrupt Green Field Says RSA Hearing Shouldn't Be Delayed

Law360, Wilmington (January 9, 2014, 9:34 PM EST) -- Bankrupt oil services company Green Field Energy Services Inc. on Thursday slammed a motion by the creditors committee to postpone a hearing on a restructuring support agreement central to its case, arguing any delay could jeopardize the deal and vanish hopes of confirming a Chapter 11 plan.

In an objection before the Delaware bankruptcy court, Green Field contended the committee has no valid justification to have the hearing, set for February, adjourned because the scheduling was set in accordance with local rules.
