Philly Atty's Estate Can't Recoup Funds From Insurer

Law360, Philadelphia (January 9, 2014, 5:52 PM EST) -- A Pennsylvania appeals court ruled Thursday that the estate of James Beasley, founder of high-profile Philadelphia plaintiffs practice The Beasley Firm LLC, and other lawyers associated with the firm could not recoup $75,000 paid to an insurer as part of a legal malpractice settlement.
