San Antonio Defense Atty Accused Of Witness Tampering

Law360, Houston (January 10, 2014, 6:36 PM EST) -- A Texas white-collar defense attorney was hit with a motion for contempt Tuesday alleging he tried to persuade a witness to duck prosecutors so that she wouldn't testify against one of his clients.

Mike McCrum, a former federal prosecutor turned defense attorney based in San Antonio, was slapped with a motion for contempt alleging he instructed a witness to avoid being served with a subpoena so she wouldn’t have to testify against a client facing intoxication manslaughter charges.
