House Committee Embraces Clean Diesel Bill

Law360, New York (March 13, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Following the Senate's lead, the U.S. House of Representative's Committee on Energy and Commerce has decided to back a bill that would allow the Environmental Protection Agency to continue funding clean diesel projects as part of environmental enforcement settlements.

On Monday, the committee approved the legislation known as H.R. 3754, with the bill likely to wind its way to the House floor for a full vote shortly.
