Law360, New York (January 13, 2014, 6:46 PM EST) -- The bankrupt gasket sealer Garlock Sealing Technologies LLC sued five plaintiffs firms Thursday, claiming they hid evidence of their clients' exposure to asbestos from other manufacturers' products in order to reap more money from the company.
Waters & Kraus LLP, Stanley-Iola LLP, Belluck & Fox LLP, Simon Greenstone Panatier Bartlett PC and Shein Law Center Ltd. violated the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act through their fraud, Garlock alleges in adversary proceedings in bankruptcy court.
