Citrix Wins Stay In Patent Dispute With Communique

Law360 (March 14, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A judge stayed a patent lawsuit on Wednesday between Communique Laboratory Inc. and Citrix Systems Inc. over a system for providing remote access between personal computers on the Internet, pending a re-examination of the disputed patent request by Citrix.

Judge Ann Aldrich of the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Ohio said that Communique would not be unduly prejudiced by a stay and that having the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office decide the validity of the disputed patent would simplify the case.
