Calif. Chief Justice Seeks $1.2B For Courts

Law360, San Francisco (January 14, 2014, 7:46 PM EST) -- California Supreme Court Chief Justice Tani Cantil-Sakauye on Tuesday unveiled a three-year plan to bring a $1.2 billion cash infusion to the state's judicial system, aimed at restoring cuts made since 2008 and increasing public access to the courts and legal-aid services.
