Fed. Circ. Ruling Clears Way For Longer Patent Terms

Law360, New York (January 15, 2014, 7:46 PM EST) -- The Federal Circuit ruled Wednesday that the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office had incorrectly calculated patent term adjustments, a win for Novartis AG that attorneys say opens the door for many companies to extend the lives of their patents.
