Lawmakers Propose Changes To Medicare For Chronically Ill

Law360, Los Angeles (January 15, 2014, 4:09 PM EST) -- Sen. Ron Wyden, D-Ore., and three other lawmakers on Wednesday introduced bipartisan, bicameral legislation that they say is designed to deliver better care at a lower cost to Medicare beneficiaries with multiple chronic conditions.

Wyden and Sen. Johnny Isakson, R-Ga., are sponsoring the Senate version of the Better Care Lower Cost Act, while Reps. Erik Paulsen, R-Minn., and Peter Welch, D-Vt., are sponsoring the parallel House bill.
