France Rakes In $613M In Airbus Stock Sale

Law360, New York (January 16, 2014, 3:13 PM EST) -- The French government raised €451 million ($613 million) by selling 1 percent of its holdings in Airbus Group, formerly EADS NV, in a continuing effort to reduce its stake in the aerospace industry, the Ministry for the Economy and Finance said Thursday.

The government sold 8 million shares in Airbus through an accelerated placement with institutional investors, bringing its ownership stake in the group to about 11 percent, the ministry said.
