China Greenlights 2 Power Projects Worth $300M

Law360, New York (January 16, 2014, 2:53 PM EST) -- Two Chinese regulatory agencies have approved a pair of energy generation projects totaling $300 million in the Chinese provinces of Liaoning and Jiangsu, the owner of the projects said Thursday.

Huaneng Power International Inc. said the Liaoning Huaneng Yingkou Xianrendao cogeneration project and Jiangsu Huaneng Liuhe wind farm project received the go-ahead from the Development and Reform Commission of Liaoning Province and the Development and Reform Commission of Jiangsu Province, respectively.
