Bankrupt OCZ Gets Nod For $35M Toshiba Sale

Law360, Wilmington (January 16, 2014, 7:59 PM EST) -- A Delaware bankruptcy judge on Thursday signed off on the $35 million sale of OCZ Technology Group Inc. to stalking-horse bidder Toshiba Corp., which emerged as the only suitor for the troubled computer drive maker.

U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Peter J. Walsh agreed to bless the sale at a hearing in Wilmington, dismissing opposition from the official committee of unsecured creditors to the deal's inclusion of certain causes of action as acquired assets.

“The objection is overruled,” Judge Walsh said. “The deal stands as it is.”...
