Appeals Court OKs Interest On Fresno Property Tax Refunds

Law360, New York (January 17, 2014, 2:52 PM EST) -- A California appeals court ruled Thursday that Fresno County is required to pay interest to its member cities on a judgment related to the municipality's property tax collections, but said a change in state law allows Fresno to pay a lower rate on interest accruing in 2014.
