Fisker Gets Nod For Feb. Auction, 2 Stalking Horse Bidders

Law360, Wilmington (January 17, 2014, 7:22 PM EST) -- A Delaware bankruptcy judge on Friday gave shuttered electric car maker Fisker Automotive Holdings Inc. the green light to auction its assets next month, blessing sale procedures that cast existing suitors Hybrid Tech Holdings LLC and Wanxiang Group Corp. in the unusual role of twin stalking horse bidders.

At a hearing in Wilmington, U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Kevin Gross agreed to sign off on Fisker's proposed bidding procedures, setting up a Feb. 12 auction that pits Hong Kong-based debtholder Hybrid Tech against Chinese auto giant Wanxiang....
