CORRECTED: FTC Increases Antitrust Review Threshold For 2014

Law360, New York (January 17, 2014, 3:45 PM EST) -- The Federal Trade Commission said Friday that the threshold for reporting proposed mergers and acquisitions subject to enforcement under Section 7A of the Clayton Act will increase to $75.9 million this year, up $5 million from a year ago.

The increase was determined during the FTC's annual revision of the thresholds that determine whether companies must notify federal antitrust authorities about transactions under the Clayton Antitrust Act of 1914.
