Texas High Court Won't Oust Justice From GOP Primary

Law360, New York (January 21, 2014, 6:04 PM EST) -- The Texas Supreme Court on Friday refused to hear a case filed by judicial candidate Joe Pool, who says a trial court should have disqualified his opponent Justice Jeff Brown from the Republican primary because his application to run for office was allegedly defective.
