Pa. Appeals Court Upholds Transfer Of Asbestos Cases

Law360, Philadelphia (January 21, 2014, 6:17 PM EST) -- The Pennsylvania Superior Court agreed Tuesday that more than a dozen asbestos product liability cases brought against defendants including Honeywell International Inc., Pfizer Inc. and Owens-Illinois Inc. were properly transferred from Philadelphia County to Northampton County to ease both the gathering of evidence and access to fact witnesses.
