House Members Frown On FCC's Ownership Rules

Law360, New York (March 17, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- A team of members of the U.S. House of Representatives has joined fellow senators in a bid to thwart the widespread consolidation expected to come from the Federal Communications Commission's new media cross-ownership rules.

Just over a week after a group of senators introduced a rarely used weapon known as a “resolution of disapproval,” five representatives unveiled a companion bill in the House on Thursday.
