Deputy USTR Sapiro To Step Down

Law360, New York (January 22, 2014, 7:20 PM EST) -- Deputy U.S. Trade Representative Miriam Sapiro, who had a hand in USTR initiatives on investment, intellectual property, labor and other areas, will leave the USTR’s office next month, the agency said on Wednesday.

Sapiro, who has served at the agency for about four years, having been confirmed by the Senate in December 2009 to her post as deputy USTR, plans to step down in February, USTR Michael Froman said in a statement.
