DOJ's Hesse Says Innovation Key In Tech Merger Probes

Law360, New York (January 23, 2014, 5:30 PM EST) -- Keeping prices competitive remains one of the U.S. Department of Justice's key goals in reviewing high-tech mergers, but the desire to shield and promote innovation has become a frequent deciding factor for the watchdog, Deputy Assistant Attorney General Renata Hesse said Wednesday.
