Pa. Gubernatorial Candidate Floats Tax Relief Plan

Law360, New York (January 23, 2014, 4:36 PM EST) -- Pennsylvanian gubernatorial candidate Katie McGinty, a former U.S. Department of Environmental Protection secretary, unveiled a proposal Thursday to increase income tax thresholds in the state, saying her plan would benefit low-income families and workers.

McGinty, who served as the secretary of the DEP for six years, said her plan would provide additional tax relief to more than 1.4 million Pennsylvanians who are already covered by the current exemption.
