Bankruptcy Judges Nab Class Cert. In Wage Suit

Law360, New York (January 27, 2014, 7:01 PM EST) -- The Court of Federal Claims on Friday granted class certification to a group of some 500 former and current bankruptcy judges and their dependents and spouses over claims the judges never received full compensation after Congress failed to adjust their cost-of-living allowances.

The court didn't buy into the government's argument that the class wasn't numerous enough and that disputes would be best handled on an individual basis.
