IRS Brass Says No More FATCA Delays

Law360, New York (January 28, 2014, 8:36 PM EST) -- Implementation of the Foreign Account Tax Compliance Act will not be delayed beyond the July 1, 2014 effective date, IRS Deputy Commissioner Michael Danilack said on Tuesday.

During a question-and-answer portion of his keynote address to the New York State Bar Association’s Tax Section, an audience member asked whether the effective date will be pushed back. Danilack responded that there will be no further delays to implementation.
