Penn State Slams Samsung With Smartphone Patent Suit

Law360, Los Angeles (January 30, 2014, 4:39 PM EST) -- Pennsylvania State University’s research foundation hit Samsung Electronics Co. Ltd. and its subsidiaries with a patent infringement lawsuit in Pennsylvania federal court last Friday, accusing the tech giant of infringing a light emitting device patent through the sale of its Galaxy SIII and Galaxy S4 smartphones.
