3 More Charged In $190M ATC Medicare Fraud Scheme

Law360, Miami (January 30, 2014, 2:54 PM EST) -- Federal prosecutors indicted three Miami men Thursday for allegedly helping run a $190 million Medicare fraud scheme orchestrated by American Therapeutic Corp. by falsifying patient records and facilitating bribes and kickbacks.

The US. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of Florida announced a 10-count grand jury indictment charging check cashing business owner Nelson Rojas, 43; physician's assistant Roger Bergman, 64; and patient recruiter Rodolfo Santaya, 54, with participating in the scheme between 2002 and 2010.
