Enagas Pays $491M For Peruvian Pipeline Stake

Law360, New York (January 31, 2014, 3:21 PM EST) -- Spanish energy company Enagas SA said Friday that it agreed to buy about 22 percent of a Peruvian gas pipeline for $491 million from Repsol SA and Hunt Oil Co. 

Repsol SA agreed to sell its 10 percent stake for $219 million as it tries to shore up its finances after 2013 losses, the company said in a statement Friday. According to Enagas, Hunt Oil will sell its 12.38 percent holding in the Transportadora de Gas del Peru pipeline, which is currently operated by a joint venture....
