Judge In BP Spill Obstruction Case Needn't Recuse, US Says

Law360, New York (January 31, 2014, 8:32 PM EST) -- Prosecutors on Thursday pushed back against a bid by a former BP PLC engineer convicted of obstructing a grand jury investigation into the company’s response to the Deepwater Horizon disaster to have the judge in the case recuse himself, saying the engineer has waived his right to seek the judge's removal.
