NY Commercial Court Seeks Veteran Attys For Refereeing Help

Law360, New York (January 31, 2014, 6:37 PM EST) -- New York's busy commercial court is moving toward a pilot program that will have seasoned legal eagles step in to help judges with discovery matters, according to a proposal dated Wednesday that could afford judges more help in hashing out such tangles.

The courts are seeking comment on the planed 18-month experiment with a March 31 cutoff date for input, according to a memo from New York's Commercial Advisory Council.
