Ex-Brocade Exec Gets Jail, Fine In Backdating Case

Law360, New York (March 19, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Stephanie Jensen, the former human resources chief of Brocade Communications Systems Inc., was sentenced on Wednesday to four months in prison and ordered to pay a $1.25 million fine for her alleged role in a stock options backdating scandal, Dow Jones reported.

Earlier this month, Judge Charles Breyer set guidelines for sentencing Jensen, who was convicted in December of falsifying offer letters and other documents in order to lock in lower stock options grant prices.
