Weiss To Plead Guilty: Report

Law360, New York (March 20, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- Melvyn Weiss, perhaps the best-known plaintiffs attorney in the United States, has agreed to plead guilty to a scheme involving kickbacks in private securities litigation, the Wall Street Journal reported in Thursday's edition.

Citing “a person familiar with the investigation,” the Wall Street Journal provided no details of the deal, but said it could be announced as early as Thursday.
