Pa. Court Clerk Wants Gay Marriage Ban Challenge Heard

Law360, Philadelphia (February 3, 2014, 5:07 PM EST) -- The rogue court clerk in suburban Philadelphia who began issuing marriage licenses to same-sex couples in violation of state law over the summer urged the Pennsylvania Supreme Court on Friday to consider the constitutionality of the state's ban as part of the Department of Health’s suit against him.
