'Sham' Long Island Charities To Close After NY AG Probe

Law360, New York (February 4, 2014, 3:59 PM EST) -- Three Long Island charities supposedly dedicated to breast cancer research, fighting abuse against women and food shelter outreach will be shuttered, pending court approval, after the New York attorney general said the bulk of more than $2.2 million they raised was funneled back to their fundraiser.
