Commerce Head Backs Closer US-Mexico Business Ties

Law360, New York (February 4, 2014, 6:21 PM EST) -- U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker on Monday touted efforts by the U.S. to increase economic cooperation with Mexico and promote U.S. exports in sectors like advanced manufacturing, communications technology and medical devices.

On the first day of a five-day “trade mission” to Mexico along with representatives from 17 U.S. companies, Pritzker was expected to make the case for greater U.S. exports to Mexico and to help export-ready U.S. companies “launch or increase their business in a number of key industry sectors,” the Commerce Department said...
