Sony Unveils Overhaul With PC Unit Sale, TV Unit Spinoff

Law360, New York (February 6, 2014, 11:28 AM EST) -- Sony Corp. on Thursday unveiled plans to hand its floundering personal computer business, valued around $490 million, to an investment fund and spin off its troubled TV unit, setting the stage for the electronics manufacturer's latest stab at a turnaround after several shaky years.
