FTC Dismisses Price-Fixing Allegations Against McWane

Law360, New York (February 6, 2014, 11:53 AM EST) -- The Federal Trade Commission recently dismissed a majority of the claims against McWane Inc. for alleged price-fixing on certain iron pipe fittings, but kept in place a ruling that McWane restrained competition in a narrower market through a rebate program.
