Turkish JV To Buy Vestas Turbines for 207-MW Wind Project

Law360, New York (February 7, 2014, 3:46 PM EST) -- A wind farm joint venture between Turkish company Borusan Holding and German energy company EnBW Energie Baden-Württemberg AG have signed a project contract with Danish wind turbine manufacturer Vestas over a Turkish wind farm project, the companies said Friday.

The joint venture, Borusan EnBW Enerji, is developing wind farm project with a capacity of 207 megawatts across five locations in Turkey. The joint venture is planning to build 67 Vestas V112 turbines for the wind farms, which in total are expected to produce 721 gigawatt hours...
