Mich. Gov. Signs Tax Bill, Overhauls Officer Liability

Law360, New York (February 7, 2014, 4:48 PM EST) -- Michigan Gov. Rick Snyder on Thursday signed legislation that updated the state's corporate officer liability law to improve the process for collecting unfiled business taxes, allowing officers who were not involved with a company when it incurred tax liability to avoid being saddled with previously owed tax debt.
