Bankrupt Constar's $116M Asset Deals Get Green Light

Law360, Wilmington (February 10, 2014, 9:06 PM EST) -- A Delaware bankruptcy judge on Monday gave Constar International Holdings LLC the green light for a trio of deals totaling about $116.5 million, including the sale of nearly all of the bottle maker's U.S. assets to Plastipak Packaging Inc. for $102.45 million.

At a hearing in Wilmington, Del., U.S. Bankruptcy Judge Christopher S. Sontchi blessed the Plastipak buy, as well as Constar's sale of its European assets to Greybull Capital LLP for $11.1 million and a Maryland property to Smucker's Natural Foods Inc. for $3 million....
