Stun Gun Maker Zaps Wholesalers With Patent Suits

Law360, New York (February 10, 2014, 5:05 PM EST) -- Personal security products manufacturer Skyline USA Inc. on Monday hit S&D Wholesale and Cutting Edge Products Inc. with lawsuits alleging they sold combined flashlight and stun guns that violated Skyline's design patent for a strikingly similar device.

Skyline's complaints accuse the companies of infringing its design patent for a stun gun that doubles as a flashlight, asking the court to permanently enjoin S&D and Cutting Edge from further infringement.
