NC Asks Judge To Postpone Duke Coal Ash Settlement

Law360, New York (February 11, 2014, 6:38 PM EST) -- North Carolina regulators are backing out of a proposed settlement with Duke Energy Progress Inc. for water pollution, asking a state judge on Monday to postpone considering an October consent decree until the state completes a fresh environmental review following a massive coal ash spill last week.
