Graco Recalls 3.7M Car Seats For Defective Buckle

Law360, Los Angeles (February 11, 2014, 9:47 PM EST) -- Graco Children’s Products Inc. said Tuesday it is recalling 11 models of its child car seats spanning four years of manufacturing for sticky belt buckles, in the largest such recall in five years.

The Atlanta-based unit of Newell Rubbermaid Inc. is pulling some 3.7 million car seats manufactured from 2009-13 from the market. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration recommended that the company recall another 1.8 million, according to the agency.
