ITC Sides With DuPont Over Sodium Metal Imports

Law360 (March 25, 2008, 12:00 AM EDT) -- In a boost to E.I. du Pont de Nemours & Co., the U.S. International Trade Commission has preliminarily agreed with the industrial goods company's allegation that it is being materially injured by cheaper imports of the product from France.

The ITC said Tuesday that on the basis of the record developed in a preliminary investigation into the matter, it has determined that there is a “reasonable indication” that the sodium metal industry in the United States is injured by the French imports under the Tariff Act...
