Law360, New York (February 18, 2014, 5:54 PM EST) -- The founder and CEO of Tesla Motors Inc., Elon Musk, recently suggested that the word recall should not be used to describe every action taken by a company to remediate potential product issues under governmental supervision. In Tesla’s case, the so-called "recall" did not require the physical return of the product, but rather the company provided an “over-the-air” software update and sent new charging equipment to owners.
